Terms of use

Last updated 20 October 2026. These are the terms on which Ekflow Tech LLP ("we") provides LedgerPost to you.

What LedgerPost does

You upload a bank statement. LedgerPost reads its lines, suggests a Tally ledger for each one from your own past entries, makes a daily report, and, when you press Post to Tally, creates one Receipt or Payment voucher per line in your Tally through the add-on file you loaded. It creates vouchers and ledgers that you approved. It never edits or deletes an entry that is already in your Tally.

Your part

• Check the lines before you approve and before you post. LedgerPost suggests; you decide. Your books, returns and tax filings remain your responsibility, as they are with any accounting tool.
• Keep your login to yourself and your company's staff. Anything done from your login counts as done by you.
• Use LedgerPost only for businesses whose books you are entitled to keep, with a licensed copy of Tally.
• Do not copy, resell, alter or reverse-engineer LedgerPost or the add-on file.

Trial, plans and payment

• The free trial lasts 7 days from the day you switch on a company, and is tied to that Tally licence: one trial per Tally serial number. In the trial one statement day opens per calendar day.
• Plans are yearly and priced by the number of Tally companies LedgerPost is switched on for, as shown on the Plans page, plus GST at the rate in force. Every bank account of those companies is included.
• Payment is in advance, by Razorpay (UPI, card, net banking) or as agreed with us. The licence covers your whole account and starts the moment the payment succeeds; a renewal adds a year to the days left.
• If you are not satisfied within 14 days of your first payment, write to us and we refund it in full. After that, fees are not refundable. We may change prices with 60 days' notice; a paid year keeps its price until renewal.
• When a licence lapses, posting to Tally stops. Your data stays, and you can keep reading and downloading your reports for 30 days; after that the account is treated as closed unless renewed.

Tally, and what needs to be open

Posting reaches Tally only while Tally is open on a PC with the add-on loaded and your company open; until then approved lines wait. Tally in Educational mode accepts entries only on the dates Tally allows. LedgerPost is not made by, endorsed by or connected with Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd.; Tally and TallyPrime are its trademarks.

Availability and support

We aim to keep LedgerPost available at all times, but we do not promise uninterrupted service; statements are read by a background process that can be delayed. Support is remote: by e-mail, WhatsApp and screen share, at hello@ledgerpost.in or WhatsApp +91 98304 16044.

Liability

Our liability to you for anything arising from LedgerPost is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, or penalties and interest on your tax filings. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

Ending

You may stop using LedgerPost at any time and ask us to delete your data (see the privacy policy). We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, with notice where the law requires it. Whatever was posted stays in your Tally.

Law

Indian law applies, and the courts at Kolkata have jurisdiction. We first try to settle any dispute by discussion within 30 days. When these terms change, the date at the top changes, and material changes are e-mailed to the account's owner.
